Visual Studio Code

My VSCode setup, extensions I use and/or published, and using vscode.dev and github.dev

VSCode is an amazing tool for writing

  • code
  • content

Fully customizable and to top it off, it has great extensibility ecosystem.

Extension and Extension packs

An extension pack is a collection of extensions that you install, uninstall, activate, and deactivate as one.

Markdown Ext Pack

For example, the extension pack I use for markdown, Markdown Ext Pack, contains the following extensions (These are their extension IDs):

  • "asciidoctor.asciidoctor-vscode"
  • "bierner.github-markdown-preview"
  • "bierner.markdown-checkbox"
  • "bierner.markdown-emoji"
  • "bierner.markdown-footnotes"
  • "bierner.markdown-preview-github-styles"
  • "bierner.markdown-yaml-preamble"
  • "DavidAnson.vscode-markdownlint"
  • "formulahendry.auto-close-tag"
  • "formulahendry.auto-rename-tag"
  • "gruntfuggly.align-mode"
  • "yzane.markdown-pdf"
  • "yzhang.markdown-all-in-one"
